Renowned French chef, Pierre Koffmann, will attend IFEX to announce an exclusive partnership with The Food Heroes and Hender Foodservice.

Pierre will join business development chef, Geoff Baird on Tuesday 5^th March at Henderson’s stand (B2) for a Q&A, while Geoff cooks up some of the products that are now available to hospitality businesses across the island of Ireland, thanks to the exclusive supply deal.

IFEX visitors will know Pierre Koffmann as one of the most celebrated chefs in the UK, thanks to his tenure as head chef of Koffmann’s at The Berkeley hotel in London until 2016, and as one of a handful of chefs in the UK to have been awarded the coveted three Michelin stars at his La Tante Claire restaurant in the capital.

Koffmann’s range of potatoes and chips is the leading UK chef’s brand for potatoes under The Food Heroes brand, founded by Pierre’s brother in law, Simon Martin. The team works with their dedicated growers group to develop varieties, select best regional soil variations and maintain strict conditioning and storage regimes. In recent years, the brand has extended its range and moved into the frozen market with five new products and Koffmann’s Frites range.

Henderson Foodservice will exclusively supply Koffmann’s frozen range of products from the family’s The Food Heroes brand in Ireland, giving hospitality businesses the opportunity to put even more premium products on their menus.
