Crossgar to showcase its awarding-winning Provenance Collection at IFEX

Renowned for supplying locally-sourced produce to the foodservice market across Ireland, Crossgar Foodservice has recently announced that it will be showcasing its exquisite new ‘Provenance Collection’ at IFEX 2010. IFEX is Ireland’s largest International Food, Drink, Hospitality and Retail Exhibition, and will be running from 23–25 March 2010, at the King’s Hall, Belfast.

Crossgar Foodservice is the first exhibitor to sign up for the prominent event and it will lead the way in showcasing the outstanding produce available within Ireland. Its Provenance Collection of locally sourced Dexter Beef, Crossgar Free Range Chicken and Lissara Farm Free Range Duck highlights the continual exemplary measures it employs to control standards of its foods from ‘gate to plate’.

Crossgar Foodservice along with one of its local producers within the Provenance range, Lissara Farm, was recently awarded the coveted 3-star gold Great Taste Award in London. The Dexter beef range, which made its TV debut in the recent Great British Menu programme on BBC, was also awarded the coveted 2-star gold Great Taste Award. Winning these awards is an industry expert’s seal of approval for the range which is reared locally.
